Dongseop Lee (integrated M.S./Ph.D. student) from the Department of Electrical Engineering at POSTECH (Advisor: Prof. Wonbin Hong) has been selected for the 2025 IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (AP-S) Fellowship Program, awarded by the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (IEEE AP-S). Notably, Lee is the only researcher from Korea among the 2025 fellowship recipients.
The IEEE AP-S Fellowship Program is a prestigious scholarship that selects a small number of outstanding researchers worldwide through a rigorous evaluation process. Lee was selected based on the originality and significance of his proposed research project, as well as his exceptional academic record, which includes 57 research publications and 14 awards from domestic and international conferences.
Lee’s proposed research focuses on next-generation transparent antenna technology integrated with display platforms. The project proposes a display-integrated antenna system capable of both communication and sensing, based on Antenna-on-Display (AoD) technology. By utilizing transparent electrode-based integrated design, the platform enables beam control and multifunctional integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) within a single system.
The proposed technology demonstrates strong potential for broad applications across various device environments, including mobile devices, vehicles, and wearable electronics.
