▣ Abstract :

Recently,

Augmented Reality (AR), as a new medium, has attracted public attention and

increased interest in its possibilities. Meanwhile, major players in IT areas

(such as Google, Facebook, Microsoft, SONY, Samsung, etc.) have introduced

head-mounted display  (HMD) as a new wearable display platform and

investigated the possibilities of the HMD-based AR. In this seminar, I first

introduce the basic concepts of wearable AR and Augmented Human (AH) for

ubiquitous VR. Then, I also explain the importance of context-aware interface

and natural interaction for HMD-based applications. Finally I share my vision

on the future research directions of AH through its possible applications.
