Dongseop Lee, an integrated M.S./Ph.D. student in the Department of Electrical Engineering at POSTECH (Advisor: Prof. Wonbin Hong), has been selected for the 2025 IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (AP-S) Fellowship Program, awarded by the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (IEEE AP-S). Notably, Lee is the only researcher from Korea among the 2025 fellowship recipients.

The IEEE AP-S Fellowship Program is a prestigious scholarship that selects a small number of outstanding researchers worldwide through a rigorous evaluation process. Lee was selected based on the originality of his proposed research project, as well as his excellent academic record, which includes 57 research publications and 14 awards from domestic and international conferences.

Lee’s research project proposes a next-generation transparent antenna platform integrated with display technology, enabling communication and sensing functions within a single display-based antenna system. The proposed Antenna-on-Display (AoD) technology utilizes transparent electrode-based integrated design to simultaneously realize beam control and integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) capabilities.

The technology is expected to have broad applications across various device environments, including mobile devices, vehicles, and wearable electronics.
