[ 수상 ]Dowon Lee (Ph.D. Candidate), Hyegu Lee (Integrated M.S.–Ph.D. Student), and Yongha Shin (Integrated M.S.–Ph.D. Student) Receive Best Presentation Awards at the Korean Physical Society Meeting
Dowon Lee (Ph.D. candidate), Hyegu Lee (Integrated M.S.–Ph.D. student), and Yongha Shin (Integrated M.S.–Ph.D. student) from the research group of Prof. Moonjoo Lee in the Department of Electrical Engineering at POSTECH received Best Presentation Awards at the 2025 Spring Meeting of the Korean Physical Society (KPS).
Dowon Lee received the Oral Presentation Award for his presentation on the observation of an exceptional point in an atom–optical cavity system.
Hyegu Lee received the Poster Presentation Award for his research on pulse shaping for selective mode control and quantum entanglement in an ion-trap quantum computer.
Yongha Shin received the Oral Presentation Award for his experimental study on cooling the motional states of 64 ions to the ground state.
The Korean Physical Society Spring Meeting is an annual conference where physicists and industry researchers from across the country gather to present the latest research results. The 2025 meeting was held in April and featured presentations across various fields, including atomic and molecular physics, condensed matter physics, and quantum science and technology.
