Dr. Heedong Do, an alumnus of the Department of Electrical Engineering at POSTECH from the research group of Prof. Namyoon Lee, has been selected as the recipient of the 2025 Andrea Goldsmith Young Scholar Award.

This prestigious award is presented by the IEEE Communications Society’s Communication Theory Technical Committee (CTTC) to recognize outstanding early-career researchers who have made significant contributions to the field of communication theory within two years of receiving their Ph.D.

Notably, since the award was established in 2021, Dr. Do is the first Korean recipient, highlighting the international recognition of his research achievements in communication theory.
