Nano Electronics System Laboratory (Professor Byung-Hoon Lee) Selected for the “2023 National Semiconductor Research Laboratory Core Technology Development Project”

The Nano Electronics System Laboratory, led by Professor Byung-Hoon Lee in the Department of Electrical Engineering at POSTECH, has been selected for the National Semiconductor Research Laboratory Core Technology Development Project, supported by the Ministry of Science and ICT.

With this selection, the laboratory will receive 2.375 billion KRW over five years to conduct research on “Novel Devices and Architectures Based on Ultrathin Phase-Composite Materials.”

The National Semiconductor Research Laboratory Project is a new initiative by the Ministry of Science and ICT aimed at enhancing foundational R&D and strengthening the capabilities of university semiconductor laboratories. This effort seeks to address the intensifying global competition for technological supremacy in the semiconductor field.
