Professor Junghoon Kim of the CTRL Lab in POSTECH’s Department of Electrical Engineering has been appointed as a Guest Editor for the special issue, “Dynamical Systems and Mathematical Control Theory,” of AIMS Mathematics, a prominent international journal in mathematics and applied mathematics (JCR Ranking: 44/492, 91.2%).

Professor Kim has conducted active research in control theory based on the mathematical rigor of dynamical systems. In particular, he has carried out in-depth studies on stability analysis methods and has produced outstanding research achievements in the field.

From February 2026 to February 2027, Professor Kim will serve as a Guest Editor for the special issue for approximately one year. In this role, he will oversee the review process for submitted manuscripts and participate in editorial decisions regarding acceptance or rejection, contributing to maintaining and enhancing the academic quality of AIMS Mathematics.
